I am looking for nonfiction books aimed at the younger generations such as millennials and younger that are inspirational, motivational, influential, and uplifiting in the following nonfiction subgenres:
Non-Fiction: Biography, Cookbooks, Crafts/DIY, History, Humor, Illustrated, Journalism, LGBTQ, Memoir, Pop Culture, Psychology, Science, Sports, Travel, True Crime
Favorite sub-genres: Diversity, Fashion, Feminism, Humor, Illustrated, Military, Multicultural, Multiple POV, Narrative Nonfiction, Neo-Victorian, Pop Psychology, Relationships, Self-Reflection, Self-help, Social Issues, Study Abroad Stories, WWI, WWII, narrative non-fiction.
I'd like the next motivational or self-help book which speaks to the younger generations. I love the sharpy, witty, edginess of Glennon Doyle and Gary John Bishop. I'd love the next unique travel book, or unexplored ancient civilization that hasn't been over-written. I want the next book which will teach me something new in DIY, and appeal to large audiences because it is a fresh idea. I love history and memoirs about people who have done something adventurous and different. I'm an advocator for domestic violence victims and assault survivors. I am passionate about books that advocate for those topics. I want the next book which takes me deep into psychology and the understanding of the human mind. I want the next book which will surprise me, even if the topic is one which is widely known.
