ESTELLE ERASMUS

Estelle Erasmus, an award-winning journalist and writing coach, writes for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Week, Wired, Writer's Digest, Parents, and more. She has been editor-in-chief of five national consumer publications. She is an adjunct instructor at New York University's School of Professional Studies/Center for Applied Liberal Arts and teaches pitching, personal essay, and getting started in freelance writing for Writer’s Digest. She writes the "All About the Pitch" column for Writer's Digest is a contributing editor for Narratively, and is a three-time Blog Her Voice of the Year winner. Erasmus is a longtime member of the American Society of Magazine Editors and is the host/curator for the American Society of Journalists and Authors podcast: "ASJA Direct: Inside Intel on Getting Published and Paid Well." She is writing a book on finding your voice, becoming a better storyteller, and getting published for New World Library.
