Estate Planning for Authors

Death is one of the few certainties in life. While tough to face, every author must prepare for what will happen to their books after they are gone.

In this session, Michael La Ronn will cover estate planning basics for authors so that they can prepare for what will happen to their books upon their death. Authors estates have unique challenges and Michael will cover some of the most difficult obstacles your heirs will face after death. Some of these challenges include passwords, email accounts, bank accounts, existing contracts, and online accounts, to name a few.

While this session will not provide any legal advice, it will help you get your affairs in order so your family can continue benefiting from your book income after you're gone. It will help you leave a legacy.
